Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, June 15An alert owner foiled a theft bid at his house in Jandiali village. A burglar had entered the house and fed intoxicant substance to the pet dog and cattle to make a theft attempt. But, owner of house Jagpal Singh, who was sleeping in the courtyard, woke up when he heard a noise, around 11:30 pm. In his statement, Jagpal said he caught the accused inside his house and then handed him over to police. A case under Sections 328, 457, 380, 511 and 34 of the IPC has been registered against the accused at the Focal Point Police Station on Friday.
