Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, June 17The police have booked six persons including a couple for allegedly committing a travel fraud of Rs54 lakh with two residents of BRS Nagar, Ludhiana. The accused travel agent and their aides had allegedly taken money to send them to Canada, but failed to keep their promise. Now, the complainants have demanded their money back, but to no avail. In their complaint, Gurvinder Singh and Jatin Pal said the accused promised to send them to Canada after taking Rs54 lakh. The accused failed to send them abroad and even did not return their money, they said.
