Bypoll to Doraha Ward No.4: Pardeep Kaur of Cong wins

Our CorrespondentDoraha, June 21The bypoll to Ward No. 4 of Doraha was held today in which Congress candidate defeated the BJP candidate by a margin of 616 votes. Out of the total 1,267 votes polled, the winning candidate, Pardeep Kaur, secured 720 votes and defeated BJP candidate Rajita Khanna by 616 votes who could secure only 104 votes. Eight votes were, however, polled in favour of NOTA.
