Ludhiana, September 12A lecture on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Patents” was organised by Punjab Agri-Business Incubation (PABI) at the skill development centre of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), under the aegis of Agripreneurship Orientation and Incubation programme. Usha Nara, eminent scientist from the department of plant breeding and genetics, PAU, shed light on patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, geographical indicators and biological diversity. Kundan Lal and RK Parmar, assistant directors, Micro Small Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSMEDI), Ludhiana, also delivered lectures. Kundan Lal briefed about the activities of MSMEDI, its role in making enterprises, classification of units (micro, small and medium) and registration under Udyog Aadhar and Samadhan portal.
