Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, September 13The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has approved a sewing machine cluster for Ludhiana. This scheme is being implemented at the district level by the office of General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Ludhiana. Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal said in the district, the DIC had identified 11 clusters of various industrial sectors which were at various stages of implementation. During the past two years, four clusters have been approved by the ministry. General Manager of Ludhiana DIC Mahesh Khanna said the sewing machine cluster was identified by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Punjab, under the MSE-CDP Scheme.
