Our CorrespondentLudhiana, September 13The Youth Akali Dal (YAD) district president Gurdeep Singh Gosha today asked Capt Amarinder Singh to focus on development rather than distributing Cabinet ranks and appointing chairmen of boards and corporations to please the Congress’s leaders. He said, “Roads are damaged, sewers choked and poor civic amenities have become a new norm in Ludhiana. Ignoring all these problems, the Congress government is busy in distributing Cabinet ranks to its MLAs and appointing chairmen of boards and corporations. “Instead of wasting resources to keep some legislators and functionaries happy, the government should spend the same amount on development of cities and improve urban infrastructure,” he said. Gosha said the Congress government and the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation would be remembered for zero development.
