Manav Mander Ludhiana, September 13 Clean drinking water seems distant dreams for students in Government Schools. Water samples collected from government schools failing the purity test has failed to wake authorities concerned from deep slumber. In July, a total of 33 samples were collected from different schools of which 11 samples were found to be non-potable while 22 samples were found potable. The report of failed samples has been sent to the Deputy Commissioner and District Education Officer. District Education Officer (S) Swarnjeet Kaur said she was yet to receive the report and after going through it, strict instructions would be issued to provide safe drinking water to the students in schools.
