Kids of school for migrant families win shabad contest

Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, September 19Children of migrant families studying at Government Primary School, Sukhdev Nagar, once against have brought laurels to the school by winning a zonal level shabad-gayan competition, organised at Government Senior Secondary School, Nehru Garden, Jalandhar, by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to mark the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev. Continuously working in the direction of doing better for students, these migrant kids had been training in music for two years now. This training in various folk songs and shabad gayan had helped in adding one more feather in the crown of the school.
