Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, October 19The two-day conference 25th Annual Conference of Punjab Orthopaedic Association (POACON 2019) organised by the Department of Orthopaedics got off to a colorful start by organising ‘cadaver dissection workshop’ for the budding orthopaedic surgeons. Secretary Prem Kumar Gupta said the conference POACON 2019 would be of immense help to the participating delegates as new advancements in the field of orthopaedics will be shared by distinguished guest speakers with participating delegates. The workshops held today include arthroscopy workshop, hip arthroplasty workshop and the lower limb trauma workshop. Organising secretary-Dr Pankaj Mohindra (Associate Professor of Orthopedics) said the two-day conference would cover many aspects pertaining to sports medicine, joint replacement and trauma. During the workshops held today, delegates participated with great enthusiasm to know about the intricacies of various orthopaedic procedures.
