Seven residential plots, 80 commercial sites on the block, auction will conclude on Nov 11 Our Correspondent Ludhiana, November 1 Another mega e-auction of the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) for sale of seven residential plots and 80 commercial sites, including shops, booths, shop-cum-flats (SCFs) and shop-cum-offices (SCOs), commenced this morning and would conclude on November 11 at 3 pm. The total reserve price of the properties put on the block is almost Rs 95 crore. According to GLADA officials, five residential plots in Dugri Phase III-A and two in Dugri Phase I (with area varying between 83.64 and 251 sq m) are being offered with a floor price of Rs 38,185 and Rs 44,092 per sq m, respectively. Among the commercial sites in the lot are 10 SCOs in Sector 39-A on Chandigarh Road, one SCO in Dhandari Kalan Phase IV, five SCOs in Sector 38, main Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road, six SCOs in Urban Estate, Dugri Phase II and III, five SCOs in Old Courts Complex, three SCOs on Old Jail Road – Pocket 1 and 2 and seven SCOs in Old Rest House at Kohara. In addition, five SCFs in Sector 39, opposite Sacred Heart School, would also be sold in the e-auction. Other commercial sites offered for sale include seven booths in Sector 39, opposite Sacred Heart School, nine booths in Dugri Phase II, nine booths in Sector 38, main Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road, three booths in Dugri Phase II and III on Bypass Road, five shops in Old Courts Complex and same number of shops on Old Jail Road, near Civil Hospital. As per the offer document, the intending bidders would have to deposit eligibility fee of Rs 1 lakh for booths and shops, Rs 2 lakh for residential plots and Rs 3 lakh of two per cent of the reserve price whichever is higher for SCOs and SCFs.
