Girl alleges rape by colleague

Our CorrespondentSamrala, November 16A girl alleged rape by her colleague here. The Samrala police had registered a case in this regard against a youth. The accused has been identified as Gurpreet Singh Gopi, working as a security guard at Samrala. The girl said she was doing a private job at Samrala and the youth concerned became her friend at her workplace only. The girl also mentioned the names of the mother of the youth and his uncle.

Our Correspondent Samrala, November 16 A girl alleged rape by her colleague here. The Samrala police had registered a case in this regard against a youth. The accused has been identified as Gurpreet Singh Gopi, working as a security guard at Samrala. The girl said she was doing a private job at Samrala and the youth concerned became her friend at her workplace only. Later, he took her to a relative’s place at Ghulal village and raped her. He continued to do this on the pretext of marriage. The girl also mentioned the names of the mother of the youth and his uncle. The Samrala police arrested the youth. The youth has been sent to the Ludhiana jail for a 14-day judicial custody.
