Shiv Sena leader held for fraud

Ludhiana, December 5The Haibowal police arrested Baljit Singh Jassian, a Shiv Sena leader, who was wanted in a fraud case. Haibowal SHO Mohan Lal said the accused was arrested from Kangalwal where he was striking a compromise in some property case. The accused leader had brought a house on loan at Haibowal. He had taken a loan of Rs 15 lakh from a bank for that. However, the accused sold the same house to a woman, Monika Sood, at Rs 9.5 lakh.
