BIZ BRIEF Ludhiana, December 5 Officials of Bharat Petroleum held a press conference today to inform about initiatives taken by them related to digital payment. Talking about the digitalization of LPG payments, B Mondal, state head, Bharat Petroleum, said this initiative would give a big push to Digital India. “LPG distributors have given their deliverymen EDC devices, which accept payments through credit or debit cards,” he said. Mondal said Bharatgas has tied up with Amazon and customers can book, pay through Amazon wallet and get an immediate cash back of Rs 50. Navtej Singh (sales officer) and Md Harun Rasheed (manager commercial business), were also present. The session was held at Jawed Habib Academy at Hambran Road branch. Jawed emphasised the importance of hair education and growing wellness industry in Ludhiana. He said “Ludhiana is an important destination for hair education. As the hair and beauty industry is growing rapidly, we need highly skilled technicians.
