Our Sports Correspondent Ludhiana, December 5 Fine batting display by Davinder Kalsi (55 runs) helped New Swan Enterprises XI record thrilling win by one run against Big Ben Exports XI in the 6th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament being held here at the Satish Chander Dhawan Government College ground. Big Ben Exports XI won the toss and invited New Swan Enterprises XI to bat first. They scored 148 runs after losing seven wickets. Their innings revolved around Davinder Kalsi who made 55 runs off 52 balls which included three hits over the fence and one six. Chasing the target, Big Ben Exports XI mustered 147 runs with the last pair at the wicket. For his outstanding contribution with the bat, Davinder Kalsi was declared the man of the match. In the second match, Farm Parts Company XI scripted victory by two wickets against Vardhman Special Steels Ltd XI. Batting first, Vardhman Special Steels Ltd made 91 runs, losing seven wickets, and Farm Parts Company XI made the required runs in 18.4 overs after losing eight wickets. Aseem Rana of the winning side, who contributed 29 runs with the help of two fours, was adjudged the man of the match.
