Ludhiana December 4 The police division 2 nabbed two drug peddlers and recovered 100 gram of heroin from their possession. ACP (Central) Waryam Singh said in the first case, the police nabbed a person identified as Joginderpal Singh Kala, a resident of Cheema Chowk, with 50 gram of heroin. He was on his way to deliver a consignment of drugs to his clients. He said on secret information, a naka was laid and the peddler was held. The ACP said accused Joginder Singh had a notorious past as he was also facing an attempt to murder case registered against him in Ludhiana in 2015 and was declared proclaimed offender in the same case. Joginder was also booked by the Ludhiana police in 2016 in a snatching case and was also proclaimed offender in this case. In another case, the police also nabbed one Rinku Sidhu, a resident of Chawni mohalla, and recovered 50 gram of heroin from his possession. The police remand of both accused would be sought from the court for further interrogation.
