Sewer lines laid, but what about broken roads, ask residents

Harshraj SinghTribune News ServiceLudhiana, December 7Residents of New Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and nearby areas on Rahon Road in Ward No. Reason: Even after more than one year of the installation of sewer lines, the streets in these areas have not been constructed till date. The suffering residents have raised the issue before the MLA, area councillor and MC officials concerned, but to no avail. The height of sewer manhole chambers is nearly 1 feet above the road surface, causing obstruction in the movement of vehicles. A group of residents blamed the MC authorities for failing to pay attention to the poor condition of streets.
