City to host state dental meet from November 17

Ludhiana, November 15The Ludhiana branch of Indian Dental Association (IDA) will host the 57th Punjab State Dental Conference at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan here from November 17 to November 19. Giving this information at a news conference here, Dr Atamjeet Singh, Secretary of IDA Ludhiana, said the State Dental Council was being hosted in Ludhiana after a gap of nine years. The Punjab Medical Education, Research, Health and Family Welfare Minister, Brahm Mohindra, will preside over the inaugural ceremony in the presence of Dr Dibeyndu Mazumdar, President, Dental Council of India and Dr Puneet Girdhar, Registrat, Punjab Dental Council, among other diginitaries. The conference will be attended by some 1,500 delegates from across the state and neighbouring states such as Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir. Sudents from 22 dental colleges in the region will also attend this event.
