Smart car and smart bed projects bag the top prize

The science project which bagged the first prize in The Hindu In School Science Festival here on Wednesday showcased a smart car and a smart bed. Dikshith Rai, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Codecraft Technologies Pvt. Rahul and Adithya S. Bhat of Sri Vyasa Maharshi School, Mulky, who made them, smart bed is an App-based project. Ravi, Chief Executive Officer of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, who inaugurated the festival, asked the students to focus on problems around them. Ltd., Mangaluru, who was the chief guest for the inaugural session, said that students should focus on improvising their ideas.

A sensor in the smart car helped grasp accident-prone situations in advance to avoid accidents. M.R. Ravi, Chief Executive Officer of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, who inaugurated the festival, asked the students to focus on problems around them. It would help society. Lauding the efforts of the students for their unique projects on display at the valedictory of the event, P. Jayarama Bhat, Chairman of Karnataka Bank Ltd., said that a mindset to innovate at an young age is good. He also urged the students to focus on cost-effective ideas. Ananth Prabhu, director of the Vikas Edu Solutions, delivered a special motivational lecture for the participating students on the occasion.
