Bhat of Sri Vyasa Maharshi School, Mulky, who made them, smart bed is an App-based project. The bed for patients can be made to move from one place to another by using the App-based application. A sensor in the smart car helped grasp accident-prone situations in advance to avoid accidents. M.R. Ravi, Chief Executive Officer of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, who inaugurated the festival, asked the students to focus on problems around them. It would help society. The younger students of today are oriented towards science and scientific temperament, he added. Dikshith Rai, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Codecraft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mangaluru, who was the chief guest for the inaugural session, said that students should focus on improvising their ideas. Stating that nobody creates the best thing in the very first attempt, he said that students should not lose heart even if there is some shortfall in their projects. Lauding the efforts of the students for their unique projects on display at the valedictory of the event, P. Jayarama Bhat, Chairman of Karnataka Bank Ltd., said that a mindset to innovate at an young age is good. He also urged the students to focus on cost-effective ideas. Ananth Prabhu, director of the Vikas Edu Solutions, delivered a special motivational lecture for the participating students on the occasion.
