20 injured as bus hits soil mound and falls on its side

The private bus that fell on its side at Kedinje village in Karkala taluk on Thursday. About 20 passengers were injured when a private bus on its way from Karkala to Mangaluru fell on its side at Daddu in Kedinje village in Karkala taluk on Thursday. According to the police, the bus hit a mound of soil and then fell on its side. Three or four passengers who were severely injured have been shifted to a private hospital in Manipal, while the remaining passengers who sustained minor injuries have been moved to Srinivas Hospital in Mukka and the Government Hospital in Karkala. A case was registered at the Karkala Rural Police Station limits.
