Police trace missing minor girl to Assam; get her back

Mangaluru: Sleuths from the Puttur Rural police station have succeeded in bringing back home a minor girl , hailing from Puttur, who had gone missing earlier this month.The girl, a resident of Kedambadi in Puttur, was missing since March 3.The police, led by DySP Shivananda Madarakandi and police sub-inspector Saktivelu, traced the missing girl to Assam. A police team went to Assam and brought her back home safely on Friday. The police refused to divulge further details about the case.
