Unfettered by the State Congress Legislature Party’s recommendation to remove him from the party, senior Congress leader B. Janardhana Poojary said he will continue criticising Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for his wrongdoing. Many Congress party men would desert the party, he said. Mr. Poojary said he did receive a call recently from Gulam Nabi Azad, who heads the party’s disciplinary committee. “I am yet to receive any notice from the party high command,” Mr. Poojary said and added, “None, even the party high command, can remove me from the party. Talking to reporters at the Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple here on Saturday, Mr. Poojary said his father, who had been associated with the party for a long time, was greatly influenced by sacrifices of Jawaharlal Nehru and his family members.
