Three feared drowned in sea

Those feared drowned are Yashwanth, who is a physical education teacher in a private school in Mulki, Guruvappa and his nephew. Three fishermen were feared drowned in the Arabian Sea on Sunday afternoon when the country boat they were sailing in capsized near the mouth of the Shambhavi-Nandini at Sasihithlu. The victims reportedly began their voyage from Chitrapu near Mulky on the other side of the river mouth, while the incident happened near the surfing point, near Sasihithlu. The police and Fire and Emergency Services personnel have launched a search for the fishermen.
