Sources said few youths from both group were admitted to private and government hospital after the incident. A group of youths from Bajrang Dal opposed them for distributing sweets to people in the procession and there was heated argument between two groups.In the melee, a youth from Bajrang Dal assaulted another youth from opposite group and it led to clash. Police who rushed to spot managed to bring the situation under control. MANGALURU: Tension prevailed in Adyanadka on outskirts of Vittal after activists of Bajrang Dal opposed a move by group of youths from minority community for distributing sweets to students and public during Independence Day procession, on Tuesday.C H Sudheer Kumar Reddy , superintendent of police, Dakshina Kannada (DK) told TOI that youth from minority community used to distribute sweets on the occasion of Independence Day to children and others during procession every year.
