A spokesperson of Rotar Blade Manufacturing Unit, Suzlon Energy Ltd., said on Tuesday that the unruly action and behaviour of certain workers had caused hindrance in the smooth operation of the plant and had severely impacted the production. “After several attempts and exploring various peaceful solutions to resolve the matter, the company was constrained and compelled to suspend operations and declare a lockout at the Padubidri rotar blade manufacturing unit to safeguard our people and property. The suspension of operations at the Padubidri rotar blade manufacturing unit will not have any impact on our current business activities,” the spokesperson said.
