MEERUT: A semi-automatic Spain-made pistol was used to murder dreaded don Prem Prakash alias Munna Bajrangi on Tuesday, according to the FIR filed hours after the recovery of the weapon from a drain in Baghpat jail.The FIR further states that the pistol is stamped with the mark of the Spanish firearms manufacturer Llama-Gabilondo y Cia, and indicates the pistol was manufactured at their plant in Vitoria, Spain.“After the killer, Sunil Rathi, stated he had no licence for this weapon, he has also been booked under section 25 of the Arms Act,” the police statement said.In a detailed description, police also revealed that a magnet was used to pull up the weapon, which was wrapped in a plastic bag, from the drain.Bajrangi was killed at 6 in the morning, after which Rathi claimed he had dropped the weapon in a drain inside the jail.
