The crime was done with “clinical precision”, and the culprits had left no “clue”.The murders stunned the locals, and puzzled the local police, which took a week to reach at the doors of the killers, which were not far off.Sonu’s call record led the police to 42-year-old Sudhir Kumar, a fellow villager and a district panchayat member. Married and father of two teenagers, Sudhir was having an affair with Sonu, police claimed on Thursday.Their call details spilled the beans. But, later, Sudhir, along with his associate Sunil Kumar, reached Sonu’s house in the early hours of January 3 and committed the murders. Both the accused were sent to jail on Thursday.
