2 govt teachers sacked for submitting fake docus for employment

Bijnor: Two government teachers, including a headmaster, were sacked for getting job by submitting forged papers and hiding facts. The two assistant teachers in question are Monika Vishnoi of Krato Nangali School and Ashwani Sharma of Najibabad School. Both the teachers were sacked on Friday.”Chandra said, “Monika Vishnoi was appointed in 2000. After her demise during the service, Vishnoi had claimed that her aunt adopted her and she was the only heir. But Sharma hid the fact and got the job,” added Chandra.Both the teachers have served for years, but earlier such documents were not asked to be produced by the department.

Earlier, they were served notices by the basic shiksha department after receiving complaints against them.Basic Shiksha Adhikari Mahesh Chandra said, “I have received complaints against the duo. An enquiry was set up in this connection. I had served notices to them asking for their explanation some days ago, but they did not reply. Both the teachers were sacked on Friday.”Chandra said, “Monika Vishnoi was appointed in 2000. Earlier, her aunt was a government teacher at a primary school. After her demise during the service, Vishnoi had claimed that her aunt adopted her and she was the only heir. But she failed to submit documents which could prove her adoption. Vishnoi was appointed in place of her aunt and was posted at Krato Nangali village school.“Ashwani Sharma was posted at Malokwali village’s government school as headmaster. He was appointed as a teacher in 1997. His mother and father both were government employees. After the death of his father, he had applied for the post hiding the fact that his mother was also working. There is a provision that if parents (both father and mother) are in government employees, their son or daughter will not be entitled for the job after their demise. But Sharma hid the fact and got the job,” added Chandra.Both the teachers have served for years, but earlier such documents were not asked to be produced by the department. The enquiry was set up after a complaint was filed.
