Edu dept seeks ‘innovation’ data from schools

BSAs asked to display innovations done at school@timesgroup.comMeerut: The Uttar Pradesh education department has instructed basic shiksha adhikaris (BSAs) to collate ‘innovations’ done in schools at district-level and send them to the state authorities with details and pictures. “All the innovations, once gathered at district level, should be sent via email to the state office. The innovations should deal with improvement in quality of education, and infrastructural facilities. Once these innovations are in place, they will be implemented across the state.”Meerut basic shiksha adhikari Satendra Kumar, said, “All the block education officers have been instructed in this regard and they have been asked to gather the details from all the schools, so that we can send this further to the state.” These innovations, once collated by the state authorities, will be replicated across Uttar Pradesh.Many teachers in the government schools of UP are doing innovations to improve quality education of students.“All the basic shiksha adhikaris are instructed to ensure that all the innovations being done at the district level should be collated with details and pictures.

Such innovations should be put together from all the 75 districts of UP and sent to the state authorities,” read the order issued by Sarvendra Vikram Bahadur Singh, UP education director (basic).Singh has further instructed that all the details of the innovations should be sent to the state office by February 15, 2019. “All the innovations, once gathered at district level, should be sent via email to the state office.
