On day 1 of UP Board exams, two impersonators caught

Meerut: Two persons were caught impersonating Class X students at Samrat Chandragupt Subharti Inter College of Kithore here on Tuesday, when UP Board exams commenced,As many as 83,787 students were to appear for their UP Board exams on Tuesday at 107 exam centres in the district. While one Zaid was caught writing Kalva’s exam, Waseem was writing for Fahim. Both students are from NAS Inter College (Laliyana). While 2,670 students remained absent from Class X exams, 1,705 students did not appear for the Class XII Hindi paper.While strict security has been maintained at all the 107 exam centres and CCTV cameras made accessible online for sensitive exam centres.“Two people were caught for fraudulently writing the exam of two Class X students. The police have been informed about the matter and an enquiry has been set up against the students in question.

In fact, their registration forms of Class IX and XI also did not have the photographs. In this backdrop, we have written to the regional secretary, Meerut to take action against the school concerned and give instructions in the favour of the students to get their exam conducted,” said ChaudharyMeanwhile, strict security was maintained at all the 107 exam centres and CCTV cameras were made accessible online for the sensitive exam centres.
