Two schools being run from same premises to be merged from Apr 1: Edu dept

Meerut: Uttar Pradesh education department has ordered that two schools being run from the same premises will operate as one school from the new academic session beginning on April 1. The school will be headed by the senior-most principal. New teachers will be appointed wherever required.“It should be noted that all the primary and junior schools situated in the same premises will be run as one school starting 2019-20 academic session. The principal in question will take care of all the financial and authoritative duties of the school.“The school management committees being run in the two schools will be dissolved and a new school committee taking the newly integrated school into backdrop will be formed,” read the order.The teachers working in the school will continue to work as usual. In this backdrop, certain instructions are being issued to the schools and it should be ensured that they are followed strictly,” read an order issued by Sarvendra Vikram Bahadur Singh, UP education director (basic).According to the instructions, all the primary and upper primary schools being run from the same premises will operate as one school and the senior-most among the two principals will be assigned the post of principal.
