Puducherry’s first woman DGP assumes office

Sundari Nanda took over as the Union Territory’s first woman Director-General of Police on Monday. Ms. Nanda was given the guard of honour at the Police Headquarters here, where she arrived on Monday to take charge. “I will continue to take forward all the good schemes that have been implemented by Mr. Gautam and former DGPs here,” she said. She replaces the incumbent DGP S.K.
