A 33-year-old person was killed when a speeding private bus hit his two-wheeler at Indira Gandhi Statue on Monday. A case has been registered against the driver of the bus for negligent driving. Traffic police gave the name of the dead as Ravikumar, a resident of Vennila Nagar at Saram. Mr. Ravikumar was set to return to his work place in Malaysia on Wednesday. He died on the spot.
