Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University Gurmeet Singh has been conferred with FICCI Chemicals and Petrochemicals Award 2018. The award had been instituted jointly by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India and the FICCI. Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways, Shipping and Water Resources Nitin Gadkari handed over the award to Mr. Singh at a function held recently in New Delhi. The award is in recognition for his contributions to the Indian chemical industry.
