Rangasamy says there is no rift in AINRC

Thirumuguran casting his vote separately, Mr. Rangasamy said he had some personal work. He dismissed reports of difference of opinion within its legislative wing. Mr. Rangasamy said predicted handsome victory for BJP nominee Ram Nath Kovind in the presidential election. While Mr. Rangasamy and six other members came together to cast their votes, Mr. Thirumurugan came alone and exercised his franchise. He refused to answer to repeated questions on reports of difference between him and party chief. Sources said he had even abstained a late night meeting on Sunday convened by Mr. Rangasamy to discuss the poll. Mr. Thirumurugan had been showing disinclination in attending meetings and even abstained from the last Assembly session raising questions about his loyalty to the party, the sources added.
