Congress leader lashes out at nominated MLAs

MLA defends action Reacting to Congress charge, BJP local unit president V. Saminathan, who is one of the nominated members, of the Legislative Assembly, said the court had not stayed their appointment and hence they were well within their rights to carry on with the responsibilities. He said even when there was a court case challenging the election of working president of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam M.K. Stalin, he had performed his duties as a legislator. Mr. Saminathan said the nominated members would continue to take up issues concerning public irrespective of what the Congress believed.
