The PASIC employees, owing allegiance to the All India Trade Union Congress, have been fighting with the government for disbursal of salary. | Photo Credit: T_SingaravelouOver 200 workers of the Puducherry Agro Services and Industries Corporation (PASIC) on Monday staged a demonstration near the Legislative Assembly demanding disbursal of pending salaries for the last 32 months. According to them, the management had failed to disburse salary to employees, including voucher-based and daily wage workers, for the last 32 months. Earlier, the workers led by AITUC State secretary Nara Kalainathan, took out a rally from Kamaraj Salai to the Legislative Assembly demanding disbursement of salaries.
