Pune: Power utility MSEDCL on Tuesday said four villages in Haveli taluka might face load shedding during the November 2-13 period on account of work being carried out at Yavat high tension substation. The probable load shedding may be on account of upgradation work of the transformer at the Yavat substation to a 50MVA from 25MVA, a statement issued by the power utility read. The work will be carried out between November 2 and November 13. The substation provides power to 15,000 consumers in Uruli Kanchan, along with Ashtapur, Hingangaon, Khamgaon Tek and Tilekarwadi. Additionally, it also provides electricity to around 1,200 agricultural pumps in the adjoining villages. MSEDCL is planning to provide alternate power supply in order to avoid load shedding, but issued the advisory as caution. These areas may face three-hour load shedding in case of a sudden rise in demand or some technical problems, the company said.We also published the following articles recentlyHave SA done enough to shed chokers tag?Despite their recent one-wicket win against Pakistan, the South African cricket team still faces doubts about shedding their "chokers" tag.
