Pune: The Opposition parties have claimed that deputy CM Ajit Pawar went to Delhi to discuss undelivered promises made to him when he joined the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance. Pawar was in Delhi last week, where he met Union home minister Amit Shah. Former chief minister and senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan said, As per our information, the promise given to him (Ajit Pawar) by the BJP has not been fulfilled.Therefore, he visited Delhi for a follow-up. This government has no time for the people as they are thinking only about themselves. How long will Maharashtra go through such instability?Pawar had posted a message that he was recovering from dengue and he would not meet many people during Diwali. However, he joined a Pawar family get-together where NCP president Sharad Pawar, member of Parliament Supriya Sule and other family members were present in Pune on Friday last week. Soon after, he travelled to Delhi where he met Shah but the details of that meeting were not put out by either party.NCP chief Sharad Pawars grandnephew and MLA Rohit Pawar claimed that some NCP MLAs and their supporters who were with Ajit Pawar are not happy with the treatment they are getting from the BJP. We suspect that the meeting in Delhi was to discuss that disappointment, he said, adding that BJP is making use of Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde factions to win the Lok Sabha elections after which it will disown them.
