European education fair this week

Pune: The eighth edition of the European Higher Education Virtual Fair (EHEVF) in India will be held on November 23 and 24, connecting Indian students with leading European higher education institutions. The 73 higher education institutes from 21 European Union (EU) member states will be present at the fair.Speaking about the EHEVF 2023, H E Hervé Delphin, Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union to India, said, Over 80,000 Indian students chose the EU as their higher education destination in 2022-23, which is a strong testament to the growing people-to-people ties between India and the EU. Indian students constitute over 25% of the total international students in the US, making India the largest source of international graduate students. The report also highlights Indias leadership in the number of individuals pursuing optional practical training. The US Embassy and Consulates in India issued a record number of student visas, with a focus on promoting equal numbers of women pursuing studies in the US and encouraging more US students to study in India.
