Pune: Two-way traffic on the remaining stretch of old Mumbai-Pune highway near Khadki is unlikely to begin in the next two months because Metro works in Khadki are still under way.The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) authorities said Maha Metro was yet to handover the road stretch after the Khadki railway station towards the Khadki police station chowk to them because the Metro stations entry-exit points landings were yet to be ready. We are expecting the road stretch to be cleared for resumption of traffic byDecember-end, a PMC official said.Metro works have been under way in the Khadki area for over two years.
