NSDC, Gokhale Institute collaborate to support MSMEs to enable job creation

Pune: National Skill Development Corporation and Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) will strengthen the skilling and entrepreneurship landscape in India.Centre for Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Development and Asra Centre of Excellence for Nano-entrepreneurship at GIPE will share knowledge and contribute to the venture which will enable job creation and increase income levels of households.Vice-chancellor of GIPE Ajit Ranade said, Skilling is an instrument to achieve an ultimate objective. They will also assist in setting up mechanisms for quality skill training and creating a framework for skilling initiatives. The consultant will provide strategic support to district teams and help in preparing a skill development policy for the state. Upgrading curriculum and improving trainer capacity are among the key tasks.
