Pune: A state-of-the-art dialysis centre will be launched in Pisoli this week, catering to patients from economically weaker sections of society.Under this initiative, citizens facing financial difficulties can avail of free dialysis treatment by visiting the centre, which is staffed by a team of medical professionals, specialists, nurses and technicians. These medical professionals will provide diagnostics, consultations and treatments for all kidney-related ailments. Dialysis is a very painful treatment and quite expensive, too. Many with weak financial backgrounds often cannot afford it. This centre by Punyadhan Ashram will provide comfortable and safe dialysis treatment for those in need, said Maa Krishna Kashyap, chairperson of Vishwa Jagriti Mission Trust, an NGO that runs Punyadham Ashram, a senior citizen home in Pisoli. Anyone with kidney-related ailments can visit the centre for diagnosis, consultation and treatment, she added. The centre, which has been sponsored by Clover Builders and will open its doors on November 23, is located within the ashram premises.
