Pune: Dhirendra Shastri, popularly known as Bagheshwar Maharaj, visited the Sant Tukaram Maharaj temple in Dehu for the first time on Wednesday. He is in Pune to preside over a divine darbar. Earlier this year, Bagheshwar Maharaj had made controversial remarks against Sant Tukaram Maharaj. His statements were criticized by many religious leaders across the state.He said on Wednesday, I accept that my remarks hurt the warkari community and followers of Sant Tukaram Maharaj.It was a mistake on my end and I clarified it through a video.
