RDA razes three unauthorised shops RDA staffers demolishing unauthorised shops. Staff Reporter : RAIPUR Raipur Development Authority (RDA) on Friday razed three unauthorised shops built at the parking spot of Indira Gandhi Commercial Complex Devendra Nagar. An unauthorised boundary wall covering three sides on parking spot of 43 commercial plots in front of wholesale cloth market was also demolished. A total of 189 plots sprawling over 8.60 acre land were allotted after approval from Town and Country Planning Raipur Regional Office in 1998 under Devendra Nagar Project of RDA. It included a plot marked for parking behind LIC Office Building in the layout. Some unidentified persons had constructed shops over 500 square foot of the plant during lockdown. The unidentified persons were up to installing plaster and shutter after the completion of work on shops. Likewise some people had started boundary wall construction over a plot marked for parking in the middle of 43 commercial plots. But authorities under security of police removed the encroachments. Earlier also unauthorised structures built over 600 square foot land adjacent to Chhattisgarh Haat behind City Centre Mall were removed last week.
