Ranchi: Ajsu-P supremo Sudesh Mahto on Saturday accused the state government of misusing the state machineries including police for illegal exploitation of the state resources.Addressing the media after his partys milan samaroh, Mahto alleged that the state government has diverted police from their actual tasks of crime control and and investigating cases. He alleged, The crime graph is rising in the state. Investigation of cases has come to a standstill. There is no review of police functioning by the government.Speaking about summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate to chief minister Hemant Soren in connection with land scam Mahto said the CM should face the situation instead of evading it. He stated that those occupying a constitutional post should set examples before the people.Mahto said, Allegations would be raised against a public figure but the responsibility of proving it wrong is on the latter. The report also pointed out that the advisory board had only met three times in six years, despite the mandate of meeting 12 times. Rai also mentioned that the minority population is supportive of the party, and with the return of Imran Masood, the Congress stands a good chance of regaining its status in Uttar Pradesh.
