Left parties, civil society rally in Ranchi seeking end to Gaza war

Ranchi: Left parties and civil society organisations on Wednesday organised an Ekjutta March from Sainik Market to Albert Ekka Chowk in the city, demanding an end to the war in the Gaza strip.Carrying banners and placards with slogans against the massacre of innocent children, women, and other Palestinian citizens in the war, the participants demanded peace.Addressing the protestors at the Albert Ekka Chowk, trade union leader Subhendu Sen said the United Nations humanitarian truce between the Israeli forces and the Hamas militants in Gaza should be implemented.
