Guv, CM Soren unfurls tricolour at Ranchi, Dumka

Patriotic fervour dominated the 75th Republic Day celebrations with unfurling of the national flag by several institutions across the state on Friday. Governor CP Radhakrishnan unfurl the tricolour at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi. After inspecting the joint armed forces parade here, Governor in his address said that his government has always emphasized on development with good governance and justice. The government is continuously making efforts for the all-round development of every individual through various welfare schemes. Corruption should not be allowed to become a hindrance in delivering these government schemes to the people. Corruption in any form and at any level cannot be tolerated. The Governor further said, the state police and paramilitary forces have made great achievements in controlling Naxalism. It is necessary for everyone to be ready to maintain law and order and control crime. The Governor also said, women empowerment is the top priority of the government. Under the MNREGA scheme, women are working as mates and gardening friends. With this, the share of women in human labor in MNREGA has increased to 48 percent. Through the Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapki Dwar program, the schemes are being delivered to the beneficiaries by the government machinery by going to the Panchayats. He further says, to make all the families of the state realize their dream of housing, our government is going to benefit a total of eight lakh families in the next three years from the state-supported Abua Awas Yojana and PM Awas Yojana. Two lakh eligible families will be benefited from this scheme in this financial year. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Hemant Soren unfurling the tricolour at Dumka said that our rich tradition related to water, forest and land and our lifestyle of living in harmony with nature shows the true path of life to the entire human race. In accordance with constitutional ideals and values, we have to move forward on the path of development with progressive thinking while preserving our rich cultural heritage. He said that the youth should use their creative and positive energy for the reconstruction of Jharkhand. CM Soren said that during the four-year rule, the government has started the old pension scheme for lakhs of state employees. The government is providing pension to 35 lakh needy people, ration to 20 lakh additional people and clothes to more than 57 lakh people twice a year. A campaign is being run to identify Jharkhand agitators and provide pension and honors to their dependents and relatives. The state government, with its own funds, will provide three-room permanent houses under Abu Awas to about 20 lakh families living in houseless and kutcha houses. More than seven lakh adolescent girls have been benefited from Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana. On the other hand, state government ministers attended the state functions held in various district headquarters as chief guests. Ministers Alamgir Alam Pakur, Rameshwar Oraon Lohardaga, Satyanand Bhokta Chatra, Champai Soren Seraikela-Kharsawan, Joba Manjhi Chaibasa, Banna Gupta Jamshedpur, Badal Giridih, Mithilesh Kumar Thakur Garhwa, Hafeezul Hasan Deoghar and Baby Devi hoisted the flag at the Republic Day celebrations in Bokaro. For the first time, fish farmers of Jharkhand participated in the Republic Day celebrations Kartva path in New Delhi. For this, the Fisheries Directorate has selected seven fish farmers. The wives of these fish farmers have been invited as special guests by the Central Government. Everyone is being taken to New Delhi by air. The National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) is making arrangements for their travel and food to and from Delhi. Fisheries Director Dr. HN Dwivedi said that fish farmers have been nominated as special invited guests by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying of the Government of India.
