75th Republic Day celebrated with promise of progress, Banna highlights achievements in health care

The 75th Republic Day dawned with patriotic fervor as Minister of Health, Medical Education, and Disaster Management Department, Banna Gupta, unfurled the tricolor at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, amidst a sea of enthusiastic spectators. As the nation celebrated its sovereignty, the spirit of unity and progress echoed throughout the district .     The focal point of the celebrations was the vibrant parade, showcasing the discipline and valor of 8 contingents. The NCC girls clinched the top spot, followed by the District Police Force (female) and District Police Force (male). Additionally, tableau displays by departments like Agriculture, Social Welfare, and Abua Housing captivated the audience, with Agriculture Department securing the first place.   Amidst cheers and applause, Minister Banna Gupta felicitated the winners, acknowledging their exemplary contributions. Trophies were awarded to the deserving participants, with special recognition extended to Platoon Commanders and Parade Commanders for their commendable leadership.   In his address, Minister Gupta paid homage to the valiant freedom fighters and revered saints who laid the foundation of Indias independence struggle. He emphasized the state governments unwavering commitment to the welfare of all sections of society, citing initiatives such as the Chief Minister Pension Scheme and Mukhyamantri Kishori Samridhi Yojana aimed at empowering women and promoting education.   Furthermore, the Minister unveiled ambitious development projects, including a state-of-the-art super specialist hospital in Jamshedpur and infrastructure upgrades to alleviate traffic congestion. He also highlighted efforts to bolster healthcare infrastructure, with the establishment of genome sequencing machines for TB testing and the setup of 17 RT PCR labs across the state, showcasing resilience in the face of adversities like the global pandemic. The Minister said that the State Government is committed to the welfare of all sections of the society and is extending the benefits of public welfare schemes to the people at the lowest rung of the society. Through these schemes, a lot of benefits are being given to the poor, deprived and backward sections of the state. He said that under the Chief Minister Pension Scheme, women from the age of 50 years, irrespective of caste, religion or community, will be entitled to get pension. This will help them become financially independent.   Under Mukhyamantri Kishori Samridhi Yojana, financial assistance is being provided to girl students from class 8 to 12. This will encourage girl students for education and they will be able to stand on their own feet in future. Under the Veer Shaheed Poto Ho Sports Scheme, all the sports grounds of the state are being widened and beautified. Besides, facilities are also being provided to the players. This will give the players of Jharkhand an opportunity to showcase their talent at the national and international level.   Under the Nilambar Pitambar Jal Samridhi Yojana, the groundwater levels and reservoirs of the state are being revived. With this, farmers will get sufficient water for farming and the irrigation system will improve. The Honorable Minister said that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren is trying to speed up the development works. Under this, the government has started many schemes and programs for the development of the state. He informed that a super specialist hospital is being built in Jamshedpur at a cost of Rs 434 crore, the construction of which will be completed soon. He said that to overcome the problem of traffic jam in the city, a flyover will also be constructed soon. The number of beds in hospitals is being continuously increased in which more than 21,000 beds have been prepared, which includes more than 5000 non-ICU beds and 11,396 ICU beds. Genome sequencing machines have also arrived for TB testing and 17 RT PCR labs have also been established in the state. Even during a global pandemic like Corona, this challenge was faced with great courage. We, who follow the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, stand in the happiness and sorrow of every person. Every successful effort is being made to make the state prosperous and advanced.
