On the auspicious occasion of the 75th Republic Day of the country, on 26 January 2024, DVC Project Head Anand Mohan Prasad hoisted the flag and congratulated the residents of Bokaro Thermal and the surrounding areas by wishing them a happy Republic Day.   Republic Day was celebrated with traditional patriotic zeal in Bokaro Thermal Power Station (BTPS), a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).  Anand Mohan Prasad Chief Engineer and Project Head, addressed the crowd; encouraging Bokaro Thermal residents to collaborate with DVC management to secure the citys bright future, he said. In the same sequence, a beautiful cultural programme was organised by the school children at the Vivekananda Stadium, after which the project head distributed citations among the staff, teachers, CISF and students for the excellent work done in the plant and wished for a bright future on this occasion, During the celebration DVC Bokaro Thermal DGM VG Holkar and was also present, apart from this, Inspector cum station in-charge of Bokro Thermal police station, Rupendra Kumar Rana hoisted the flag in the police station premises.   While the local social worker Jogendra Giri hoisted the national flag in Trijal resort. During the function  up mukhiya Binod Sahu, Khirodhar Mahato, Dharam Singh Binod Bhatia, NP Sinha were present.
