Intensify campaigning for voter awareness: DC

The Sweep Cell meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Thursday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. Discussions were held with various departments and non-government institutions present in the meeting regarding voter awareness related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. It was suggested that the Postal Department, Bank and Supply Department, Gas Agency, should send the message of voter awareness to their respective customers through flex, banners, selfie points, stickers and stamps. The Animal Husbandry Department was directed to spread awareness messages to the voters in its animal vaccination camps. The Deputy Commissioner directed the Nodal Officer, Sweep Cell to provide the necessary design. There was discussion about installing selfie points in all offices and running signature campaigns for voter awareness. Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Sweep Cells Nodal-cum-District Social Welfare Officer Sita Pushpa, Deputy Election Officer Sujata Kujur, District Supply Officer Gyan Shankar Jaiswal, representatives of various departments and representatives of NGOs were present in the meeting.
